Tracy McGrady believes that his sore knee may keep him out of this year’s All-Star game, the Houston Chronicle is reporting. Voting ended on Sunday and the starters will be announced on Thursday, with McGrady ranked second amongst West forwards at the last announcement of the vote leaders.


“Right now, I think I might have to pass on that,” McGrady said. “I’ll attend, but I don’t think I can play.”


McGrady said he has not spoken with anyone from the NBA about not playing in the All-Star Game on Feb. 17 in New Orleans.
