The 76ers might be among the worst teams in the NBA, but what does that say about the New York Knicks? For the second straight night, the Sixers beat the Knicks, this time a 105-77 rout at Madison Square Garden, setting off boos and chants of “Fire Isiah.”

The Knicks’ embattled coach, Isiah Thomas, surely knows that performances like this get coaches fired, and it didn’t help that his squad fell to 6-13 and sits in last place in the Atlantic Division. It is one thing to be humiliated by the Boston Celtics, who beat the Knicks by 45 a little more than a week ago. It’s another thing entirely to lose to the Sixers.
