Denver Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin has a strained right knee and will undergo an MRI exam on Monday. Martin suffered the injury late in the first half of Saturday’s 109-81 loss to the Houston Rockets. He went to the locker room prior to halftime and did not return in the second half.

Martin, 29, has been sidelined 106 games over the past two seasons after undergoing microfracture surgeries on both knees.

A 2004 All-Star, the 6-9 Martin is averaging 8.6 points and 4.9 rebounds in 13 games this season.
