Gilbert Arenas, who missed his second consecutive game to rest his left knee, wasn’t needed last night as the Wizards massacred the Philadelphia 76ers 116-101.The win moves the Wizards’ record to 5-5.

The Wizards put together a 46-15 run to bridge the second and third quarters and established a 92-55 lead late in the third.

“Tonight we just fed off of each other,” Wizards coach Eddie Jordan said. “The camaraderie factor is really huge for us since Minnesota. We’re supporting each other, and we’re sharing the ball. That being said, we miss Gilbert a great deal.”

While Arenas watched from the bench in street clothes, second-year forward Andray Blatche did whatever he wanted against the 76ers.Blatche came off the bench for a career-high 26 points, eight rebounds and four assists.
