Immediately after the Raptors - Hawks game, Atlanta’s forward-center Al Horford went on to visit the victim of his mis-timed block - TJ Ford, who was hospitalized at Piedmont Hospital after Horford hit Toronto’s point guard in the head while trying to block his breakaway layup.

Horford, along with Dominique Wilkins and Josh Smith’s father, Pete Smith went to the hospital to check on Ford’s condition and to make sure he knew that nothing was intentional.

When TJ Ford was told that Horford came to see him, he immediately asked to see him and he said he knows everything was just an accident.

And Al Horford wasn’t the only player concerned about TJ Ford’s condition after the hard blow. Every Hawks player was concerned because it was a very dangerous situation, as Ford had his problems with his neck injuries in the past.

And we here at NBAheadline.com wishes TJ Ford a quick recovery!
